Want to give your teen (ages 13 to 18) a summer adventure to remember? Titan Tech offers a wide range of adventures in career exploration using the latest technology.

GTCC's Titan Tech features two, week-long sessions filled with fun, hands-on experiences that allow your teen to explore some of the hottest potential careers.

The times and dates for the 2024 Titan Tech Camp are:

  • 9 a.m.-3 p.m. June 17-21
  • 9 a.m.-3 p.m. June 24-28

Students can apply and register for one or both weeks. Please note that some of the programs are not offered for both weeks.


The cost is $100 per session for Clay Creations, Artful Masks, Mural Magic, and From Pulp to Possibilities (to help pay for supplies). All other camps are $75 per session. Lunch is included for all sessions.

Artful Masks: Exploring Wearable Art

Discover the art of crafting large and wearable masks using cardstock, reeds, and paper mache materials. This course will help unleash your creativity as you learn to sculpt intricate designs out of these materials and build fantastic masks that can be modified and improved over time. From Pulp to Possibilities: Handmade Paper

Join us for a week-long experience exploring the art of handmade paper, suitable for all levels of experience. Learn the fundamentals of paper making, including fiber inclusions, composition development, and applications for handmade paper. Lessons will cover both functional and sculptural objects, and after camp, students will have a designated pick-up day to collect their finished artwork. Cost: $100.

The Scrub Life

Health Sciences – June 17-21


Are you interested in pursuing a career in healthcare? If so, you may want to consider becoming a nurse, medical assistant, hospital technician, or other healthcare professional. By exploring the field of health sciences, you'll gain insight into what makes this profession so challenging and learn about the vital role these individuals play in our lives. Students will need to be comfortable having their fingers pricked for one of the lab activities. A permission slip will be sent out upon confirmation of registration. No sandals, crocs, slip-on, or open-toed shoes allowed. Cost: $75.


Iron Man's Fab Lab

Welding – June 17-21 and June 24 - 28

A Titan Tech camper welding

Participants will explore the world of welding using electrical plasma. Learn basic safety protocols, MIG welding, and robotic welding programming fundamentals. On a small mild steel project, students will have fun welding using the latest technology. Students will need to have or purchase leather boots with rubber soles, jeans, as well as non-synthetic tops such as cotton or wool to participate in the Iron Man's Fab Lab. Cost: $75.


Culinary Quest: A Cooking Adventure

Can you take the heat? Experience the fun, fast-paced environment of top restaurant kitchens and food trucks as you bring out your inner chef. Join award-winning faculty who will teach the fundamentals of cooking, baking, and various techniques to whip up delicious creations with flair! Each student will receive their own chef uniform and work through step-by-step instruction in knife skills, food prep, and sanitation procedures. Students will create snacks, meals, and desserts to enjoy each day of the week! Cost: $75.
